Congress has been working on legislation that would ban the use of federal funds for any project getting the go-ahead using the Kelo decision. Roberts said that was an "appropriate approach."
"What the court is saying is there is this power," he added. "That leaves the ball in the court of the legislature."

Let's see how quickly the legislature - including those in the pockets of big developers - move to change that power and give rights back to the citizens. I'm not holding my breath.
I think this excellent news. It may not be the cure-all to that ourageous, f-cked up ruling by the SCOTUS, but it's a step in the right direction. I think it shows there's at least some hope for our elected officials; they heard the peoples outrage and acted accordingly.
