A Nation Under God

Let others worry about the rapture: For the increasingly powerful Christian Reconstruction movement, the task is to establish the Kingdom of God right now—from the courthouse to the White House.

Yes, we are a now nation of extremes.

In one corner we have the evangelical christians, who I personally don't fear to the degree that Nadir does. Personally, I'm very comfortable with my beliefs, so these folks don't worry me much.

In the other corner we have the amoral/immoral/secular left who believe in nothing but "anything goes, man" and who are taking society and popular culture on a race to the bottom (Hellooooo Hollywierd!!!). These people, on the other hand DO worry me. They have no scruples, no values, no ethics. Because of these dirtbags, I have to be careful about leaving my 3 year old alone with the TV for 5 minutes.

Yes,a nation of extremes we have become.

Six: I fear neither the US Christian extremes, who, compared to the Taliban, Al Queda, etc., are not very different than the US secularists.

Imagine if the US Jesus Freaks get what they say they want: things will not change very much in the US. Now imagine if the radical muslims get what they want. Now that's an absolute hell on earth.
