Bush undoing diplomatic progress

Pretty tight pro-Nadir/Tom argument against Bush's dealings with Russia: "If we don't want them in our backyard, why are we in theirs?"

The Bush administration is being hostile to Russia because it hopes to gain political ground in the former Soviet republics of Central Asia. This is part of US efforts to separate Russia and China from the oil and gas rich region and the Middle East.

Part of the 30 year-old plan for global domination through control of energy. Russia is still a big player in that arena.

Buchannon makes an appealing case for Bush to go visit Iran. I suppose it's back to befriending tyrants. Perhaps there's no alternative.
