“The Largest Single Intrusion Into American Civil Liberties Ever Committed By Any U.S. Administration”

Meanwhile, Paul rants and raves about a couple of rich kids who may (or may not) actually be guilty of sodomizing single mother/college student.

Where is the outrage that the president YOU voted for is spying on you?????

I'm am much, much more scared that a girl can successfully file a fake rape report to avoid her own arrest (and that a huge number of people will automatically believe her simply because she's black and/or a woman) than I am that "the govt" has my verizon records. Nadir, where you under the impression that if you fell under investigation (say, by a woman filing a fake rape allegation against you) that govt investigators couldn't get your phone records?

Nadir: With your concern for individual liberty, respect for law, etc., have you been paying attention to what the Duke DA's been doing? If he can get away with this to cage some rich honkies, what about other DAs accross the country, perhaps one day going after YOU! Access to phone records is one thing that the Duke DA has, but that's the LEAST of the tools that he's used. Where is your credability in identifying "racism" if you let these calls of "racism" get used?

I notice that you didn't object when Calvin said that accuser couldn't tell what was getting stuck in her. Will you wait to challange such a preposterous statement only when it applies to defending the rape charges off a white woman versus a black guy? If such preposterous excuses stand in this case, it'll be available in future cases when the accused aren't people whom you inherently dispise.

Nadir: Why are you calling the accuser a "single mother and student"? What does such a charactorization have to do with the case? If a white stripper had falsely accused some black louts, would you refer to her as a "single mother and student"? Did you refer to Kobe's accuser as a "student and successful non-mother"? I didn't; I refered to her as a "groupie slut", because that was her title wich pertained to her involvement in his room. She wasn't there because as part of her studies, or to explain to him how to avoid getting getting pregnant. She was in his room because she was a groupie, and she was a very sexually promiscuous girl who had willing sex (I believe) with somebody she just met.

How does it help the cause of anti-racism to treat some lying, cheating, stripper sluts like they're Rosa Parks?

The court hasn't determined that she has lied. The court also hasn't determined that the Duke dudes are guilty.

Why in this case are you waiting for "the court" to decide? Since when do you, of all people, permit the legal system to proceed without your scrutiny? If some black louts (punks, as you would call any black frat memembers or scholarship athelets, who behave identically to these guys) got fake-accused by a "single mother and student" (whom had hired as a stripper/escort), would you merely awiat the findings of a court?

What will you do, Nadir, in the future when exactly that happens? Your silence here has set a president. So has the support for this accuser by many others who wish to end racism. If you guys either sit on your hands with your ears and eyes closed now -- or cheer on the false accuser -- where will your moral consistency be in the future, when this happens to people whom you don't despise? If a DA in Durham can use these practices -- which you would surely oppose had he used them on rich black "punks" -- on some rich white punks, what is to stop the use of these practices around the country by people with whom you sympathize?

Don't you think it would be easier to halt these practices in this case, than when, say, your future son gets a false rape charge by a white stripper who invents her claim on the way home to avoid a DWI?

And what of real rape, or a real act of racism? If you let a fake one occur while you are silent, and as others cheer it on, what will your voice mean when you try to convince anybody of a real act of racism or rape?
