The Democrats are Punks
Despite the fact that the entire world wants the Bush regime out of office, the Democratic Party balks at the prospect of impeachment.

I suppose that I would like the demos to impeach Bush on all the grounds that they think he's committed impeachable offenses.
If they think that he "lied" in the war lead-up, I think that they should use their constitutional powers to hold him accountable. Indeed, they have a constitutional requirement to do so. I think they could not prove this case, legislators who think otherwise have a duty to attempt to impeach him.
It is on other grounds that I happen to think that they *could* prove their case, such as enacting laws without approval and oversight from the other branches of the fedl govt.
Is permitting, and perhaps mandating, torture of captured terrorists an impeachable offfense? I don't know. But if it is, I would certainly support impeachment for that.
The FEMA response to Katrina was horribley inefficient, though I believe it merely represented the FEMA responses to all previous disasters in all previous administrations. Do I think that fact (if indeed it is a fact) should excuse Bush from an impeachment for this result (if it is indeed an impeachable offense)? No, I do not.
The most evidence supports impeachment for violating the FISA act, and for violating international treaties like the Geneva Conventions, which according to Constitutional law experts, is like violating US constitutional law.
How did Bush's invasion violate the Geneva Conventions? Did his troops toruture uniformed members of an army that represented an existing nation? I disagree with torturing anybody, even "unconventional" fighters like those not covered by the Geneva Convention (emphasis on the word Convention, as in conventional, versus unconventional).
The Geneva Conventions have specific clauses that address non-uniformed individuals who are captured. They are not to be tortured either.
Essentially, it is illegal for anyone to torture anyone else. Show me somewhere where torture is NOT illegal.
