I oppose this guy on many of his positions, and I consider him to be a mere frontman for religious tyrants. However, he speaks like an intellectual. Is there any rebuttal for his claims against the establishment of Isreal? I can't think of any. And his accusations against the holocaust are reasonable: permit scholars to debate, and don't imprison those who reach an verboten conclusion.
His comments about today's German people would make for very interesting application to today's Americans on the topic of "slavery reparations".
Also: If Bush can negotiate directly and productively with the tyranical leaders of some nations, why not this guy?

He makes a lot of sense to me.
So where are the white folks in America who believe the same way the interviewer does about slave reparations? I say anyone who advocates Germany paying reparations to the Jews should advocate the US and other former slaveowning powers to pay reparations to the descendants of former slaves.
Fair is fair.
Lots of US white folks support "slave reparations"; they are called "liberals", and probably represent about a third of all crackers, I expect.
I don't know enough about the German-Jew reparations situation. If it involves specific Jews who suffered specific injustices, I can imagine perhaps some arrangment that would make sense. If we are talking all Jews on earth, or even all Jews who descended from Jews who lived in Germany within a certain time frame, I imagine that I would oppose it, and for the same reasons articulated by the Iranian president. Of all the wars in human history, and all the atrocities visited by one government on a people, why should Jews and the atrocities committed by the German Nazi govt be treated special?
Where would this end? Would Isreal pay reparations to the Arabs (and which Arabs?) for King David's complete eradication of the original inhabitants of Palistine 3-4,000 years ago? What about Japan's Hirohito govt's "Rape of Nankin"? Who would "pay reparations" to whom for the attrocities of Rhwanda? And for which generation of attrocities? Different groups committed the atrocities in different periods. What of the African nations today descended from the people who enslaved the Africans sent as slaves to the European powers?
