Muslim Immigrants Horribly Abused in the West
Ah, those racist crackers in the West. Here are some horrifying stories about abuses suffered by muslim immigrants in western nations. I support harsh criminal penalties against the perpetrators.

Women are treated poorly in many countries by many people. Muslim women are no different. Many cultures have not had a women's revolution as the US had 40 years ago. There are also women in the US who suffer from oppression...
Paul, it's funny how you can become a muslim women's advocate just minutes after lambasting a single mother in the US who has to strip for a living. It shows just how much you really care about women's rights...
Nadir: You are comparing my reaciton to a story about innocent women (the muslim immigrants) being unjustly abused by men with my reaction to a story about a woman (the Duke stripper) unjustly committing abuse against innocent men. Men do not own a monopoly on abhorant, deplorable behavior. Women commit all sorts of horrible crimes, including some muslim women.
Shame on you for likening the plight of the Duke false-accuser to that of the muslim victims described in the article! They are victims, whereas the Duke accuser is a perpetrator of viscious, selfish lie! The Duke accuser is more similar to the muslim men who have abused these women.
I adamantly and irrefutably support absolute equality in rights for women, and their complete ownership of their ideas, bodies, and the fruits of their labors and free trade. This does not mean that I support them in denying these rights in other people. I oppose muslim, white, christian, agnostic, etc women who steal from others, harm others, or bear false witness in a way that robs people -- even rich assholes -- of their own liberty.
The article about the abused muslim women includes zero allegations that they committed any wrongs against others. The Duke rape case stories combine to demonstrate that the accuser suffered no illegal wrong, or even any wrong that ought to be illegal.
No evidence in the media compels me to believe that she was beaten or raped; to the contrary, she certainly stole a car from an innocent man and drove dangerously, and it is over 90% apparent to me that she lied about a rape in order to escape arrest for public intoxification and to avoid a drug test that would otherwise have been mandatory (and which could have led to other criminal complications had it shown illegal drug consumption) for the arrest of three people innocent of rape or other crimes against her.
I assume that she was sexually abused as a child, since this is typical of people working as strippers and prostitutes, two occupations that she has chosen for herself. You are incorrect that she "had" to strip or prostitute for a living. These are choices that she made, choices that 99% of capable US women in her same economic situation choose against. Perhaps those abusive muslim men were themselves abused as children. Boo-hoo. Those men, and the Duke stripper, have grown into adults who are now unjustly harming other people.
Notify me when a stripper or prostitute gets raped and/or beaten. This happens all the time, though rarely does it make the papers, and seldom do charges materialize. I will support even strippers and hookers who get beaten or raped or robbed, and I do feel sorry all who are so emotionally damaged and self-loathing that they would choose such an occupation. And I especially embrace those who were actually forced into this work, essentially as sex slaves, which occassionally happens in the US (though not with the Duke stripper), and happens to a million or so women in the world.
Nadir: Can you answer me on this? I defend innocent muslim women *and* innocent white assholes; even black women who choose to strip are capable of committing a great wrong, and even white assholes are susceptible of having a wrong committed against them.
