In Iraq, many horrible people used liberation to loot their national museums, naturally causing devoted peaceniks to blame Bush for not predicting and protecting against this behavior. Meanwhile in Afghanistan, some people who risked their lives to hide similar treasures from tyrants bearing first USSR then taliban insignias, no longer feel that they need to hide anything.
