This sounds promising. One or more of the Saudi dictators has recently for the first time spoke of a transformation of SA into a democracy, and rights for women. I think that Bush might be the first US president to openly and plainly tell allied tryants that they should democratize. This might have contributed to these recent hopeful developments.
