US Military Leaders Acknowledge Iraq is Going From Bad to Worse

Under tough questioning from U.S. senators, the head of U.S. Central Command, Gen. John Abizaid, acknowledged Thursday that Iraq could descend into civil war.

And your point here, Nadir, is what? Nat Turner's rebellion failed, but that didn't make it wrong. He claimed to his recruits that they were going to liberate the entire south. Same for John Brown's rebellion. These defeats in now way invalidated the righteousness of their cause.

You have put yourself in the position of "being proven right" everytime somebody in Iraq kills civillians or US troops. The opponents of democracy in Iraq have people like you here in the US pressing for their goal of expelling US troops. What makes your case stronger? More civillians killed and more infrastructure destroyed? Or less?
