Islam's God is a Monster

From the article:
"The Jews have come from the [Holocaust] and forced the world to respect them, with their knowledge, not with their terror; with their work, not with their crying and yelling. We have not seen a single Jew blow himself up in a German restaurant. We have not seen a single Jew destroy a church. We have not seen a single Jew protest by killing people."

"Only the Muslims defend their beliefs by burning down churches, killing people and destroying embassies. This path will not yield any results. The Muslims must ask themselves what they can do for humankind, before they demand that humankind respect them."

"The clash we are witnessing around the world is not a clash of religions or a clash of civilizations," Dr. Sultan said. "It is a clash between two opposites, between two eras. It is a clash between a mentality that belongs to the Middle Ages and another mentality that belongs to the 21st century. It is a clash between civilization and backwardness, between the civilized and the primitive, between barbarity and rationality. Knowledge has released me from this backward thinking. Somebody has to help free the Muslim people from these wrong beliefs."

She said she no longer practiced Islam. "I am a secular human being," she said.

Calling those people "backwards", "uncivilized", and "barbaric"? What kind of a racist, cultural imperialist is she? Oh, she's a Syrian muslim... and one who now gets death threats everyday. When will "brave" hollywood take a "stand" against an enemy that makes real threats? Have Oscar presenters dared applaud the assassinated flimmaker Theo Van Gogh, and the reformed muslim actress who lives under guard?

This woman is incredible. She speaks absolute truth. As you said Paul, if only those farcical Hollywierd elites posessed a fraction of the courage that she does, they would make a movie about the Van Gogh murder, or about the way Islam treats woman and gays.

I'm sure there is quite a price on her head.

Six: How about if the hollywooders had a fraction of the courage that they think they have! I don't understand why the Nadirs and Toms don't view today's islamicists with as much excited enmity as they do yesterday's slavers and jim crowers. I know that they think that the US (or, they would say, just its govt and business leadershp) is "the Great Satan", but that factor also loomed during the 1850s and 1950s, without diminishing any of their absolute and dominant enthusiasm for defeating and punishing the slavers and segregators.

A great bulk of confederates and nazis were poor, ignorant, unsophisticated people who could cite a list of grievences (some even valid!) which justified (in their eyes) the cruelty and inhumanity that they visited upon others. I join Tom and Nadir in dismissing those lists, and in rooting against those bastards while watching History channel episodes. But what about those grievences that today justify the suicide bombers at the end of George Clooney films? I join this lady in dismissing those, and hope that Tom and Nadir will do the same.

One favored justification is that "outsiders" demarked the Arabian nations with "arbitrary" and "artificial" boundries that divided similar peoples and unified conflicting people. Well, SO WHAT. That is true of EVERY MODERN NATION, including all that conduct themselves sanely, prosperously, and civilly (ie, democratically). The same is also true about grave injustices attending to the formation and initial distribution of resources of nations. Has any nation been more brutally conquered more often than Great Britain? Or had its boundries unify more disparate peoples? Or had its resources more unjustifyably and creully allocated?

The New York Times today has an article about the capture of Saddam Hussein. The military's "shock and awe" that Tom and Nadir charactorize as "terrorism" was so successfully surgical that Hussein was able to escape it just by hiding in civilian quarters! After the US took Baghdad, planes bombed a non-residential building that sat next to a house. Hussein was in the house. He didn't get scratched. Did *any* mosques get destroyed by any US strikes? Compare that to the churches in Germany and Japan.

I share Tom and Nadir's shame that our military practices torture. But I'm proud of many other aspects. Iraq's invasion by the US is mild compared to the various invasions suffered by many of the world's most sophisticated and civil nations. The meanest blows have been delivered not by the invading forces, but by the baathists and islamicists, including the most recent deadly destruction of the priceless Shia temple.

The Jews (or I should say Zionists) practice state terror instead of individual terror. There are extremists in Judaism and Christianity just like in Islam.

That said, I do not condone terror or torture by any individual or state.

The god of Islam is the same god the Jews and Christians worship. He offers the same violent destruction of his enemies in the Torah, the rest of the Old Testement and the Qu'ran.

Christians and Jews have devised state sponsored terror tactics which supposedly absolve them of the individual acts. "Politics is war without bloodshed." - Mao Tse-Tung

Islamic terrorists, on the other hand, believe that their individual acts of sacrifice in the name of Allah will bring them a greater reward in heaven.

Don't think the Christians in South Dakota didn't think the same thing when they outlawed abortion. Don't think Arial Sharon didn't believe the same thing when he brought machine guns into the Temple Mount.

All of these Godless people who make war in the name of God/Allah are lower than animals.

Big difference, Nadir, as these "reformed muslims" will tell you: When Christians kill for *any* reason, they cannot cite any commandment or example from their icon, Jesus. And Jews only claim to want one parcel of land, and on it want "democracy with an asterix"... and the size of that asterix is directly proportional to the violent opposition that threatens its sovernty. Islam, meanwhile, is premised on violence; its icon, Mohammad, killed and conquered people, and explicitly commands the violent subjugation of non-believers, adn execution of believers who repent. Officially the god of these three religions is the same; but his portrayal is most unsavory in the koran, less so in the old testiment, and benign in the new testiment.
