Okay...
When Obsanjo agreed that he would let authorities pick up his partner in crime, Charles Taylor, last week, we should have smelled a rat. Why would they give Taylor a week's head start? No conspiracy there.
But...
Could we soon see a special forces strike in Nigeria? It's Africa, so my first inclination would be to say "No", but Nigeria has oil...
Nah! No way! It'll never happen!!!

So, Nadir, if the US invades Nigeria it will confirm one of your beliefs about how horrible the US govt is (that it would pretend to want to install a democracy, but really just snatch oil), but if the US doesn't invade Nigeria, it will simply confirm another of your beliefs about how horrible the US govt is (it doesn't care enough about Africa to pretent to want democracy there enough to invade a nation and snatch its oil).
Never mind. They picked up Taylor trying to slip into Cameroon.
I don't know why he didn't take the week's head start. He must have only left yesterday. Dumb move.

So, which of your conflicting negative views of the US does this prove?
