I think that neither party (dem, repo) nor any major ideology (libertarian, conservative, liberal, socialist, progressive, etc.) can solve the US and world health and medical problems because all of them embrace an incorrect view of health and medicine, which is premised on feeding and curing people via the use of garbage food and high-tech, deleterious medical products and procedures.

Thomas Sowell's free market strategies for health care will fail just as surely as will the Tom-Nadir central market strategies, as they both regard deaths from cardio vascular diseases as resulting from lack of drug treatments and surgeries. However, at least a free market strategy would free me from paying for Nadir's dad to counter his pork chops with "blood pressure" drugs that will in turn force me to help pay for his heart-bypass operation.

It's sort of like the advocates of school vouchers thinking that private schools can automatically beat government schools using the same watered-down curricula and un-educated teachers.
