The Iraqi government is so happy the US has brought them "democracy" that they will pardon guerrilla fighters who attacked US troops? How does that make you war proponents feel?

As I have stated several times before: I consider it absolutely essential to grant amnesty to hostile parties as one cost of winning a war and establishing peace, even to monsters like the confederates and the nazis and the japanese imperialists.
