Ummmm, HELLO!! As much as people say Canada is the 51st state, it really IS another country!

Nadir: But why would these "freedom fighters" attack Canada? It has socialized medicine, high tax rates, and no military outposts in backwards totalitarian countries.
...and these stories all have US connections, by the way.
Canada is still a Western nation that is wholeheartedly supporting the war in Afghanistan. And yes, Canada does have its own imperialist nature as evidenced by the ongoing war against the Mohawks and other sovereign nations.
I don't deny the existence of extremists who wish to terrorize and kill innocent people. The men who were captured in Canada, if guilty, are the symptom of a much larger disease that afflicts Muslims, Christians, Jews and others throughout the world.
Those who believe that murder is an acceptable tactic for acheiving political and religious gain are brutal savages who deserve the harshest of punishment.
