Toronto Sun Stands With Israel

A Canadian church and trade union have called "for economic sanctions against Israel and a boycott of the Jewish state to protest its policies in the Palestinian territories. Basically, both are calling on Canadians to choose sides in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Fair enough. We choose Israel, which cannot be expected to negotiate with a Palestinian government led by Hamas, a terrorist group whose founding charter calls not only for the destruction of Israel, but for the annihilation of the Jewish people.... As long as this is Hamas' position, it is Hamas, not Israel, that should be boycotted by the civilized world."

The Palestinian people freely elected a psychotic death cult to be their government. Now they're paying the price. Maybe they'll reconsider at the next election. Somehow though I seriously doubt it.

The Palestinian people elected a freedom fighting organization that has used desparate tactics in the past to combat a military force with the backing of the world's largest superpower and other Western nations. They elected Hamas because Fatah under Abbas has sold them out to an Israeli government that would rather kill innocent Palestinian civilians than work for peace.

The US elected "a psychotic death cult" to lead our governement. This is what the neocons have proven to be. But Americans like you guys are content with a violent and lawless regime.

I am not surprised that the editorial staff at a Western media organization would back Israel. I won't say why I am not surprised because you reactionary right-wingnuts would probably label me as anti-semetic though criticism of Israel has nothing to do with anti-semetism.

Nadir: How do you know what's going on in this area? You are not there.

Six: I really do hope that the Isrealis just move out and let these retarded murders have that land and turn it into their own hell, just as they have with the land that they already have. However, without the Jews there, maybe they'll run out of excuses for their misery, and they might even ellivate their mentality and start constructing rather than destroying lives, infrastructure, and commerce. What a dreadful mistake the zionists made in selecting that land for their near-democracy.

Nadir: I am verging on opposing all US bases outside of the US. However, the existance of US military bases in a foriegn country does not constitute imperialism or colonialism, unless you can explain how the following nations are US colonies:

Germany
Japan
England
South Korea
Italy
