Some Men Rape; Some Women File False Rape Charges
Why is it that anybody -- such as Tom -- believed that women were any less likely to lie about a rape than men are *to* rape? As this female writer correctly notes, the ability to file a false rape charge is both possible and powerful, and women are no less likely to abuse power than are men.

Do the peole who think that "women never lie about being raped" believe that women are more moral than men? That women are less likely to cheat of their taxes, shoplift, or cheat on their spouses? When it comes to RAPE, I am certain that women are far less likely than men to RAPE men than men are to rape women, because women lack access to the power to rape. And when it come s to filing rape charges, I think that men are less likely to do so, because cops and DAs are less likely to believe that a woman can even rape a man. When it comes to filing false rape charges, this is a horrible act that women have much more access to than men. And like men, when women have access to a power, some fraction of them abuse that power.
Betty: Are you aware that local police depts and DA offices get federal funding to press sexual assault charges, but not for other forms of crime? Thus cops and DAs have financial incentives to press even flimsy charges, to not see holes in such cases, and to interpret facts in favor of the accuser of such charges.
