Adrea Yates Not Guilty Of Drowning Her 5 Children In The Bathtub by Reason of Insanity

The only insanity here is the verdict itself. What a sick joke our legal system has become.

I'd rather see ten of her go free than one innocent person get convicted. And she didn't get off scott-free. Just like OJ, she spent about a year in prison, lost all her money, and got severely ostricized.

After posting this, I started thinking that maybe I was wrong; This woman really is/was insane and certainly was at the time she drowned her 5 children. I was prepared to change my view on this until I learned this morning that she may be released back into society if she is no longer deemed a threat.

That to me is totally unacceptable. Someone who could do something like she did to her own children, nut-case or not, she never be allowed back into society.

I'm back where I started on this topic.
