How unfortunate for the West that:
- centuries after Europe drained Africa of its youngest and strongest men and women during the slave trade
- a century and a half after Europe raped and murdered the remaining African women, men, children and elderly to carve up and colonize the continent
- After decades of neocolonial corruption and oppression, and the theft of the world's richest land mass' natural resources,
I feel so much sympathy...

I'm not even sure what you're talking about. In the same time that Africans haven't gotten their acts together, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Japan, the US south (including millions of blacks from there) have overcome devistation and mass death of young men. The Africans have no logical excuses for not overcoming their own misfortunes; all successful nations existing today or ever in history overcame devistation.
The Africans who immigrate to the west appear to have a frequency of laziness and ignorance and jackassedness that is lower than the American average: they make better grades and have higher incomes than the American average. This is one reason why so many black African immigrants take a very dim view of native american blacks. Why is it that back on the continent they are not building prosperous, stable, sensible societies?
I don't know, but I am certain they have only themselves to blame in 2006. The english overcame centuries of brutal conquest by waves of invaders; the french and germans did the same. As have all advanced socieites in world history. The Africans can as well, I am certain. One thing I am certain cannot help, and will hurt: blaming today's situation on the past or current actions of honkies.
If the South Koreans could recover from the US war there 50 years ago, if the Indians can recover from English subjugation, Nigerians can overcome whatever external outrages they once endured.
Nadir: How do you know that any raping occured? I thought that you did not form or express opinions on allegations of rape.
Nadir apparently believes that black folks are so weak that unlike honkies, they can never recover from injustices. Weak, but noble: unlike honkies, they have never practiced slavery, rape, conquest, genocide, colonization, curruption, oppression... except of course as the consequences of same visited on them by honkies.
As always, when Britain conquers Africans, Nadir does not excuse this by exlaining how many British men were executed and enslaved by Romans, Vikings, and Normans. But when one group of Africans enslaves and conquers another, heck, that's just becuase they haven't recovered from what honkies did to them 100 years ago.
What was Shaka Zulu's excuse for his eye-poppingly brutal conquest of his father's kingdom? What about brutal formation of Egypt's first Pharoses? How can we trace those actions back to some earlier honkey action?

"Ignorant, lazy black jackasses" by definition don't search for jobs; One of the things that they do is break into the homes of other people.

Western foriegn aid (govt and private0 I believe has been causing nothing but problems in Africa. I think that westerners should cut it off for a few years to see if things improve without it.

When people like Nadir lay out the "racism" charge, sometimes they do actually identify a real racist (somebody who believes that race exists, and either that some "races" posess an inherent genetic superiority, or are themselves especially committed to advancing one "race" over another). But too often, as with Nadir's charge here against me, the term "racist" is just an ugly insult reached for when is cubburd is bare of facts and logic. Or, I should say, bare of facts and logic that could prove his charge.
His use of the word "racist" is no more credable than me calling his mom a whore: it's just something ugly to say, and it exists outside any logical reasoning.
When a guy like Nadir starts calling a guy like me "racist", the logic he employs can take any combination of facts to prove his point... which is to say, his logic is nonsense. Nadir's charges of my racism include a reference to my children, who are black. If I had no children, or only white children, Nadir would use that fact to prove I'm racist: Sure, Paul has black friends, but he'd never actually raise any black children. But since I'm raising black children, I'm just like Strom Thurmond, who sired and provided for a black child even as he opposed anti-lynching legislation and black enfranchisement.
This recalls our friend Calvin, who insisted to us that the Duke suspects requested black strippers (not because he read any fact, but because he *surmised* they must have requested black strippers), and that this clearly demonstrated a plan to rape black women. I told him then that not only had they not requested black strippers (according to articles I read, not my infallable surmising), but that if Calvin had read that they ordered white strippers (which they did), he would find *that* as evidence that they're racist (they raped the black girl because they didn't want a black stripper).
Once a guy like Nadir or Calvin disagrees with you on a matter of race, you are a racist (if you're white) or a sell-out (if you're black), and they will interpret every fact to prove their conclusion. But people using logic will clearly see that they are wrong. Such people will see that people like Nadir are racist: they believe in the existance of "race", and they interpret people's views according to their racial catagorization.
Nadir catagorizes me as "white"; I label the blacks who burgled Lee as "ignorant and lazy"; I am a racist. Nadir catagorizes Lee as "black"; Lee also considers his robbers to be "ignorant and lazy"; Lee is not a racist.
Nadir's logic proves that somebody is racist, alright!
Nadir: I'm not racist. I'm just behaving this way because my Irish ancestors got oppressed by Englishmen. That probably explains your behavior as well. We can't expect for you to ever overcome what those damned Englishmen did to your noble, peace-loving Irish ancestors.
