White Republicans are racist.
Black Republicans are "sell-outs".
Whites who vote for a black Republican over a white Democrat are... what?
And what is it that these racists/sell-outs want? They want blacks to have low incomes, poor education, and the the other ingrediants that lead to criminal life? Whites in the subburbs want Detroit to be a deteriorating ghost town? What is that blacks in the subburbs want?
If the subburbs are racists, why do tens of thousans of blacks from Detroit flee there for their safety and prosperity?
If the US is racist, how do so many non-white groups out-peform whites?
Nadir, please help me with the logic here. I used to could answer these questions back when I was a brave, truth-know'n leftist. But now I've forgotton how to answer these questions.
The Republicans will lose ZERO white votes by nominating Keith Butler (but they're still racist!); the democrats will lose some black votes to him.

I have called Paul a racist, and I would expect Keith Butler to sell-out black folks to the radical right agenda if elected.

And of course Republicans wouldn't lose votes by electing any black person to public office. Racists have no problem with black folks as long as they are WORKING FOR THEM!! Remember slavey? Jim Crow? McDonald's? Your mama's negro maid?
Keith Butler would be a "good boy" in the Senate just like Michael Steele who changed his tune in Maryland this week from distancing himself from Bush to lure Black voters to "Bush is my homeboy". When that whip is cracked, they know who is boss.
Hence the "harmless" perjorative "handkerchief head".

White folks are already moving in to gentrify Detroit in some areas. They are buying up cheap land and biding their time until all the poor Black folks have made their exodus for Inkster, Highland Park and Westland. Don't get it twisted, and don't think that Blacks are fooled by it.
And they will still want a few poor Blacks around to stock the shelves and work the drive-thru. They are happy to have the Mexican gardeners and nannies.
Surely you don't believe the nature of racism is only manifested in whites hating Blacks and other races enough to assault or kill them? If that's really what you believe, you weren't paying attention to all those history books you've read.
White racists want Blacks to be powerless, harmless and content. Only a few extremists want us dead. Most still would like us around to do their bidding.
Hence the system of WHITE SUPREMACY that we have seen in operation for at least the last 600 years.
You can't find any evidence of any white people stating that they want anything for black folks in 2006 other than positive, constructive conduct and economic success. You can imagine and suppose, but you have zero evidence to cite. You can't even show that honkeys make more money from a run-down, burned out Detroit than from a Detroit that is just as black, but with black folks succeeding at the same rates as all the other non-white groups in this country.
No, I don't think that the only form of possible white racism is whites killing, beating, and raping blacks. So, we agree on this point, that white-on-black killing, beating, and raping no longer exists as a significant threat to black people? Good. Now we can move on to other possible forms of white-on-black racism. Please explain them to me and I am happy to address them. Where they exist, I will join you in publicizing and fighting them.
I am eager for these specific types of white racism that you believe still exist.
And I want to understand how it is that before Republicans had black candidates they were racist, and now that they have black candidates they are still racist. Is it possible for a non-racist, non-tom to support low taxes and school vouchers, and oppose affirmative action? Or do these views neccessarily define a person as racist?
And please give me your definition of "racist", and how I qualify for it, as well as Bush.

Still no answer from Nadir. He's never given a definition for "racism" nor explained how I qualify. I conclude that for him, the word is a meaningless insult, like "asshole."
