Israel's Act of War Against the World

By intentionally attacking UN troops and killing international soldiers, Israel has effectively committed an act of war against the world.
UN peacekeepers in south Lebanon contacted Israeli troops 10 times before an Israeli bomb killed four of them, an initial UN report says.

The post was hit by a precision-guided missile after six hours of shelling, diplomats familiar with the probe say.

So Israel knowingly attacked and killed UN troops just as they knowingly shot at a Fox News corespondent two weeks ago.

Israel is the very definition and embodiment of a rogue state. They have no regard for international law as evidenced by their practice of constantly ignoring UN Security Council resolutions. Now they commit an act of open warfare against the United Nations, Austria, Canada, China and Finland.

You apologists for Israel will no doubt find some way to excuse these attrocities and downplay their significance, but these acts of war underscore the fact that Israel is a criminal regime that believes its "chosen people" are above international law and above the rest of us.

What name would you use to describe a criminal, fascist, self-proclaimed "master race" besides "Nazi"?

Nadir: I certainly agree with you that the Jewish belief in themselves as the "chosen people" is racist, and definately draws a valid comparassion to the Nazis. However, within the nation that they have created, they apply the law equally to all, with the exception of emergency-type provisions associated with constant aggression from all borders over the years.

If Isreali soldiers targetted UN personel or journalists, then I would agree with you that such actions constitute war crimes, and I would put them on the table along with the various war crimes and UN violations committed by Hezbollah. However, I assume that that Isreal would not intentionally commit such acts since they undermine their own objectives while serving the objectives of their enemies and critics. I still blame Hezbollah for this mess, as Isreal would never have unleashed the dogs of war had Hezbollah not constantly attacked Isreal, and because I object to Hezbollah's mission (a totalitarian state spread over Arabia including Isreal) and support Isreal's mission (prosperous, secure, democratic nations in Arabia trading peacefully with each other and their citizens freely and peacably crossing each others' borders).

How can you say that Israel didn't intentionally attack the UN observers or the Fox News corespondent?

Obviously you didn't read the reports. One could only draw your conclusion if you didn't see that the UN personnel notified the Israelis 10 TIMES, and the Fox News reporters were wearing flack jackets that said PRESS on them.

You can gloss this over as the US media has, but the evidence is there. Israel is committing war crimes against its allies.

Just because the UN personel notified the Isrealis, and just because the Fox news reporters had PRESS on their flak jackets does not prove that the Isrealis intentially killed those people. The Irealis firing the weapons that killed these people may not have known which building housed the UN, seen the PRESS marks, or simply made a mistake. Afterall, even the Isrealis suffer from "friendly fire" attacks.

Beyond that possibility is the fact that compared with the enormous amount of Isrealli munitions firings, very few UN sites or reporters have been hit. Also, doing so harms Isreal's interests and goals, and helps those of its enemies. Thus I assume that these casulties represent mistakes.
