Unhappy Anniversaries of Bush's Failure
As if we needed them, the last few weeks have offered several reminders of why the presidential administration of George W. Bush is the worst in US history. A quick review of recent events highlights the reasons this failed businessman should never have been given the job of chief executive in the most powerful nation on earth.

Yes, if only Gore or Kerry -- so successful in their own pre-political private lives -- had achieved the presidency.
I do admit that the best response to 911 might have involved:
1. *Not* invading Iraq, or any other sponser of terror.
2. *Not* passing any laws, such as Homeland & Patriot Acts, or very watered down versions.
3. Even less destruction in invading Bagdahd.
4. Zero turture, and perhaps even releasing most POWs after 6 months, but making their stays so nice they seek to get re-captured.
5. Or, conversely, fighting even harder in Iraq. Surely Bush's generals made a mistake at Tora Bora. My friend in Iraq insists that the US military has "its hands tied."
Meanwhile, Bush's tax cuts were an economic triumph for all Americans, and would likely not have occured with Kerry or Gore as president. And the exploding Fedl budget I can hardly believe would have grown any less under either of those guys, though Bush has embarrassed me here.
Most Americans disagree with your assessment of the economy:

I am included in that group.
Most Americans think prefer TGIF, Puff Duffy, and Snakes on a Plane. The average understanding of economics apparently ranks simillarly. The data show clearly that the tax cuts bouyed all segments of society... where people work hard and make smart choices.
