I consider this outrageous, backwards, uncivilized, and utterly retarded. And since it has happened in a nation that promotes itself as "free," it is shameful. The truth does not need tyranical imposition. To the contrary, tyranicall imposition of a statement casts doubt upon it. I am pleased that some large fraction of the US population is horrified by the muslim tyrants rampaging in response to the mohammad cartoons. That outrage only warrents respect if it is equally directed at European "holocaust denial" laws, all "hate speach" laws, and private efforts to fire people for saying things that other people consider to be "insulting" or "offensive." I despise the judge, jury, and voters of Austria as much as I do the muslim cartoon rampagers. These people are nazis; they are the white southerners who demanded "slavery forever".

Tom: Do you support imprisoning people who deny the holocaust? You are bound to, in accordance with your support of Harvard profs attempting to fire a president because he said something that "offended" them. Afterall, Austrian voters have used their democratic rights to enact a law that mandates prison for people who deny that a Jewish holocaust occured. I would like those Harvard profs and those Austrian voters respectively fired and imprisoned for expressing views that offend *me*.

Tom: Should professors vote to fire their collegues who deny the holocaust?
